Blue Sky Communities has marked the grand opening of The AdderleyApartments in Tampa. This new affordable housing development designed to address the shortage of accessible housing for families in Tampa. Located at 9300 North Nebraska Ave in Tampa the 128-unit complex and its amenities showcase Blue Sky’s commitment to high-quality, affordable living spaces.
The Adderley is funded through $40.3 million in public-private support. This includes contributions from the City of Tampa, Truist Bank, and the Florida Housing Finance Corporation. The development now offers 67 one-bedroom, 47 two-bedroom, and 14 three-bedroom units to families meeting area median income (AMI) thresholds at 30%, 60%, and 80%. Each unit is designed with affordability, comfort, and security in mind.
“The Adderley will help fill housing gaps in the community for some of our neediest families,” said Tampa City Councilmember Lynn Hurtak. “I am proud that the city was able to contribute to this very important project.” The City of Tampa contributed $2 million from its Housing and Community Development department.
