Christmas Town – a Busch Gardens Tampa Bay annual event that includes millions of holiday lights, “Spark the Night” fireworks and interactions with Santa Claus – is set to preview Nov. 14-15 and open to the public Nov. 20, running through Jan. 3.

It will be a bit different this year, with the “Christmas on Ice” show being performed on a new outdoor stage and contactless interactions with Santa and Rudolph. The fireworks are new to the event this year.

“Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is excited to continue to provide our guests with fun, inspiring and memorable holiday experiences at Christmas Town while addressing important health and safety needs during this time,” said Rebecca Romzek, public relations and communications manager.

The theme park’s annual event will offer holiday treats throughout the park, including assorted desserts and holiday cocktails like spiked hot chocolate and a signature hot toddy.

In order to offer a safe event during the COVID-19 pandemic, Busch Gardens worked with medical experts to ensure the park is taking necessary measures to keep visitors healthy, including temperature checks, required face-coverings and social distancing. The park is also conducting enhanced sanitation routines.

There will be limited capacity and all guests must reserve tickets online in advance. The event is included as part of standard park admission. Tickets can be purchased at Bush Gardens Tampa Bay.
