A supervisor with CareerSource Pinellas was recently honored with a statewide award from the Florida Workforce Chairs Alliance Lighthouse (FWCA). Frank Malloy is a Management Information Systems (MIS) Supervisor and has been working at CareerSource since 2010. The Lighthouse Award was created to recognize behind-the-scenes employees who go above and beyond and who others can unwaveringly rely on.
Working at CareerSource
In 2001, Frank began his workforce development career going door-to-door to get job orders for Business Services. He joined CareerSource Pinellas in 2010. Over the years, Frank has gained experience in nearly every program and service the organization provides.
Frank was nominated for his ability to effectively collaborate with his colleagues and for being the knowledgeable reference point on policies and training for MIS systems, as well as having a keen eye for unique solutions.
“We are thrilled that Frank was selected for the Florida Workforce Chairs Alliance Lighthouse Award. This is a well-deserved recognition of the daily contributions he makes in ensuring our staff are properly trained and supported, allowing them to provide optimal service when working with our community,” said Steve Meier. He’s the CEO of CareerSource Pinellas. “I am grateful to have Frank on our team and for the hard work he has put in to continuously improving our organization.”
