“As a community, we depend on these agencies to be responsive in life-or-death emergencies, but they are facing unprecedented challenges in filling personnel vacancies just like other businesses and organizations,” said Kristopher Lucas, Chief Operating Officer for CareerSource Pinellas. “Many agencies are offering bonuses and other hiring incentives at this time, and this event is a great opportunity for people who have considered joining different first responder professions to take the leap now.”

Anyone interested in attending the hiring fair, either as an employer or a job-seeker, can register on the CareerSource Pinellas website. Interested members of the media who would like to speak with participating agencies about the hiring challenges they face are invited to join us for a media availability on-site at CareerSource Pinellas.
