During National Small Business Week, CareerSource Pinellas is reminding people of the small business resources available to them through their local workforce development board. A 2021 economic analysis by the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council found that small businesses account for roughly one-third of the total value of Pinellas County’s economy, or $17 billion out of the county’s $51 billion economy.

Through CareerSource Pinellas, small businesses in Pinellas County have access to things like:
- Specialized recruiting services
- Human resources support
- Assistance in identifying financial incentives
Businesses may also schedule on-site tabling events at Career Centers throughout the county. They can also attend other career fair and networking events to connect with job seekers.

Throughout 2023, CareerSource Pinellas will host a series of webinars focused on the needs of small businesses. Guest presenter Jason Druding, Director of Business Services at CareerSource Pinellas, will discuss how to hire employees, train existing staff and how current incentives and programs and services might benefit your business and help your workforce needs.
