WUSF “Longest Table” epicurean gala is returning this April 4 to the scenic St. Petersburg waterfront. Tickets are already available and expected to sell out. All funds raised from the gala go to support WUSF. Some of the best restaurants and food in Tampa Bay will be served.

Guests can select now from a wide range of amazing restaurants, such as Mattison’s, House of Vegano, Birch & Vine, The Library, Michael’s on East, Milan and more. This year, turnout for the event may top 1,000 people.

“We are thrilled to host this wonderful outdoor event where we can gather together to enjoy these fabulous restaurants in a beautiful setting – all while supporting the mission of WUSF,” said WUSF General Manager JoAnn Urofsky. “We have outstanding menus to choose from this year and we are encouraging our listeners and supporters to secure their tickets quickly.”

How it works

Prior to the event, guests select which restaurant they prefer, and then they are seated along a series of tables. Chefs from each restaurant then serve a gourmet four-course meal paired with fine wines to their segment of the table.

Longest table sample menu

For Longest Table 2024, chefs have crafted menus especially for this event – for instance, this dinner from Mattison’s:

  • First course of brown butter poached walleye with pomegranate pulp and toasted pine nuts paired with Francis Ford Coppola Director’s Cut Chardonnay.
  • Second course of berry crusted duck breast with squash blossom salad paired with Coppola Diamond Collection Santa Barbara Pinot Noir.
  • Third course of center cut ribeye with smoked tomato mushroom ragout paired with Coppola Eleanor.
  • Dessert course of Torte di Nona with macerated berries, frutti di bosco and lemon anglaise paired with Coppola Sophia Rose.

Guests can select their preferred restaurant here. To keep the party going, there will be an “Arts Axis Florida” Longest Table After-Party starting at 9 p.m. in the St. Petersburg Museum of History, with La Lucha, a Tampa-Bay based jazz trio, dancing, and more. All tickets include access to the after-party.
