In the wake of terrible damage from Hurricane Helene across Tampa Bay, the Ferman Motor Car Company Inc. is donating $1 million towards relief efforts. The donation will go towards helping families of first responders in the Tampa Bay region who lost their own homes in the storm.

“Our hearts are broken for those so badly impacted by this storm and its aftermath,” said Jim Ferman. He’s the leader of the multi-generational Ferman automotive organization. “We hope in our own way to support those first responders and community leaders who have put their own needs aside to stand on the front lines and help others in our community.”

Initial plans call for the donation to go towards supporting staff with these organizations:

  • Tampa Bay area police and Sheriffs organizations
  • Metropolitan Ministries
  • Meals on Wheels
  • U.S. Coast Guard

Founded nearly 130 years ago, the Ferman group of companies operate more than a dozen locations throughout the wider Tampa Bay region.
