Green Thumb Festival in St. Pete This Saturday

To celebrate Arbor Day, the city of St. Pete will host the Green Thumb Festival at Walter Fuller Park. Participants will be able to learn gardening tips, shop from local nurseries, and enjoy all-day activities for adults and kids alike. As part of St. Pete’s annual Arbor Day Celebration, the festival will last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday.

The Green Thumb Festival

This year’s festival will have over 120 garden, plant and flower vendors and exhibitors as well as adult and youth programs and activities throughout the day.

The Arbor Day Foundation is an American nonprofit dedicated to planting trees across natural and urban landscapes worldwide. As the Tampa Bay community continues to grow, they place a special importance on preserving the natural landscape through tree planting, environmental conservation, and other efforts both city and statewide. The Green Thumb Festival is just a part of this mission – it connects the community to our local farmers and environmental groups and offers a chance for families to learn about the natural wonders around them.
