Krate in Wesley Chapel, a shipping container park concept, opened at the Grove at Wesley shopping center. Krate’s 94 containers house 46 one-of-a-kind restaurants and retail shops. It was developed by Mishorim Gold Properties, which bought the Grove at Wesley Chapel complex for $64 million in September 2019. Many Krate tenants are first-time business owners who hail from near and far, including Tampa, Miami and even Chicago.
Along with the restaurants and retail shops, Krate in Wesley Chapel also has an outdoor stage for events and presentations, and even an interactive play area for kiddos. It celebrated its grand opening on June 4 and about 70% of its businesses are already open with the rest debuting this summer.
