In just 10 days, St. Pete residents will get to have a bit of Ybor City right at their fingertips. La Segunda Bakery & Café will open its third location in the Tampa Bay region on March 21. The La Segunda in St. Pete will be located at 2436 Fourth St. N., in the Holiday Plaza.
The new spot will be bigger than the original Ybor location on 15th Street. La Segunda in St. Pete will have indoor seating for 40 people and a pet-friendly outdoor patio. But just like the original, it will offer a spread of delicious food including cafe con leche, guava and cheese turnovers and, of course, Cuban bread.

According to St. Pete Rising, 4th generation owner of La Segunda Anthony More is excited to bring La Segunda’s authentic Cuban recipes to St. Pete. More adds, “We can’t wait to provide a more convenient location to the many St. Pete residents that have visited us in Tampa year after year.”
The official grand opening will be on March 21. The St. Pete location will be open 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week.
