Hillsborough County Neighborhood Relations is now accepting applications for the 2023 Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program. The popular program features exciting project categories aimed at bringing neighbors together and boosting community involvement.
The 2023 Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program provides up to $5,000 of funding for neighborhood organizations that foster healthy, safe, and engaged communities through innovative and creative community projects.

The 2023 Neighborhood Mini-Grant project categories are:
- Neighborhood Identification
- Leadership Empowerment
- Safety Opportunities and Education
- Environmental Enhancements
- Health and Wellness Engagement
- Emergency Preparedness
- Neighborhood and Community Innovation
Application deadline

Who can apply?
Civic associations, homeowner associations, or special taxing districts in Hillsborough County are eligible to apply, including those in Tampa, Plant City, and Temple Terrace. Neighborhood organizations must be registered in the Neighborhood Directory Listing before applying for a mini-grant.
Get a listing before you apply
If your organization is not part of the Neighborhood Directory Listing, you need to submit a Neighborhood Directory Listing application online. Prior to applying for a mini-grant, your organization must receive an email confirmation from Hillsborough County Neighborhood Relations stating that your organization has met the requirements and is now part of the directory listing.
