Easily, one of the most stressful parts of flying for families is baggage. Individuals typically only need to carry one or two bags for a flight. But families with small children often have to pack several bags for their kids. They also are responsible for strollers, car seats, and other cumbersome baby gear. Now, because of the creative ingenuity of two Tampa locals, families at TPA can now take advantage of a new rental service specifically designed for parents with kids on the go.
Our Little Suitcase is a beach and baby rental company founded by locals Keith and Becky Buckingham of Plant City. They help reduce travel stress for parents by providing convenient, affordable rentals for all types of gear that parents need while on vacation. You can pick up and drop off rentals right from the baggage claim area of the Tampa International Airport. By expanding to rentals at the airport, the Buckinghams hope to make vacationing in Tampa as easy as possible.
“The Concessions and Commercial Parking Department welcomes this unique service to the Airport”, said Joel Feldman, Tampa International Airport’s Senior Manager of Airport Concessions. “We’re very excited to help make this new service available to our customers.”

Between rentals, all items are thoroughly cleaned. Hard surfaces are wiped down with hydrogen peroxide. Also, all removable covers are laundered in a hypoallergenic detergent specifically for babies, the couple said.
“We want to make sure we provide a clean and safe product for our little ones,” said Becky Buckingham, noting that they have a saying: “We don’t want you sharing your vacation with the last vacationer.”
The TPA rentals are available in the Main Terminal at Level 1 Red Baggage Claim. This is located behind the Southwest Airlines baggage office near the SkyConnect elevator. You can also arrange delivery in the Tampa area from their website.
Rental prices range from between $65 to $200 depending on the equipment and length of the rental. The company will even deliver beach chairs, toys and umbrellas to families vacationing along certain sections of the Pinellas County beaches.
