Anyone considering starting their own business, but not necessarily from scratch, may want to head to the Tampa Convention Center Sept. 18 and 19 for The Franchise Show 2021.
The event will feature 50-80 vendors with available franchises, those who can help with financing and others who can answer legal questions.
There is a list of available seminars people can attend for no additional charge.
“This is a tradeshow for individuals who are seeking to be their own boss, anyone who is looking to start their own business,” said North American Show Manager Michael Hyam. “It saves them a lot of time from doing research. Some come to the show who have already done some research and others haven’t.”
Participants can talk to someone about using their 401K to start a franchise business and some can find out during the show what they qualify for, Hyam said. There are also seminars on Franchising After COVID, Small Business and Franchise Funding in 2021 and Franchising Versus Small Business Startup and more.
All vendors are those looking for franchisees in Florida, he said, noting that about 1,000 people are expected to attend the two-day event. The show runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets for the show are two tickets for $10 and $25 for the How to Franchise Your Business workshop. Tickets must be purchased online.
