A new restaurant is coming to Water Street Tampa. Predalina, a Mediterranean-style seafood restaurant, is scheduled to open early next year. Owned by the Tampa based hospitality group Oxford Commons, the restaurant will be at the bottom on the Cora residence building.
What is Predalina?
Predalina is a new restaurant coming to Tampa that will focus on seafood-driven, Mediterranean cuisine. It’s named after the owners’ great-grandmother. It will be in honor of her long and prosperous life and her love of waterfront living. The 7,000-square-foot restaurant will also feature outdoor dining, a raw bar, wood-fired oven and wine cellar. The new restaurant is in good company. Other restaurants opening at Water Street Tampa include Wagamama, Small Giant Bar and Restaurant, Noble Rice, Boulon Brassiere and The Pearl.
What is Water Street Tampa?
Water Street Tampa is a waterfront community featuring residences, hotels, retail, restaurants, offices and public spaces. Construction started in 2018 and will be finished by the end of this year. Once construction is complete, the total area of retail, residential and entertainment space will be 9 million square feet. The project developer Strategic Property Partners is co-owned by Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik. The area hopes to be an example of sustainable urban development.
The Cora building, where Predalina will be located, is a residence building that focuses on luxurious styling and lush greenery to create an oasis among an urban jungle. Advertising on Cora’s website promises sunrise yoga on the roof deck, onsite dining, fitness center, swim-spa and communal grills.
