Tampa’s Lift Up Local program extended

The City of Tampa has extended its Lift Up Local Economic Recovery Program through April 4. The program allows for expanded use of outdoor spaces for restaurants, bars, and retail businesses.

While streets will not be closed for the purposes of this program, businesses will be able to utilize spaces on sidewalks and parking lots. Tents and other temporary structures can be used as long as the business has obtained a permit, which are being offered at no cost and have a same-day turnaround period. In accordance with COVID-19 safety measures, social distancing and sanitation protocols remain in place.

More details about the Lift Up Local program can be found on the City of Tampa’s website.
