Tampa’s Propeller Club and Maritime Alliance Introduce On the Horizon Breakfast

On the Horizon Breakfast. Hosted by Tampa's Propeller Club.

Tampa’s Propeller Club and the Maritime Alliance are inviting leaders in the maritime and business communities to their first inaugural On the Horizon Breakfast. The breakfast will be held at Armature Works on Tuesday, September 13, at 7:30 a.m. Included with the breakfast will be a chance to network, a panel conversation, and remarks from some of the leadership at the Port of Tampa.

The interactive panel will discuss the growth of the Port, the growth of the Tampa Bay region, and the maritime industry’s key role in fueling and sustaining the area’s progress. Panelists will include experts in the different cargo that come to the port–dry bulk, containers, liquid bulk. The panel will be moderated by Arthur Savage, a leading Tampa Bay shipping agent and president of A.R. Savage & Son.

President of Tampa’s Propeller Club, Darren Richards, wants this event to become an annual “must attend” gathering of the maritime industry and the traditional business community. He envisions attendees of the breakfast discussing what is happening at the Port and how the community can come together to support and grow this economic engine.

The schedule of events for On the Horizon Breakfast is:

  • 7:30 a.m. Networking
  • 8 a.m. Welcome, Port Tampa Bay remarks, panel conversation
  • 8:45 a.m. Audience Q&A
