Due to Hurricane Ian approaching Tampa Bay, the Tampa Theatre will be closed through Friday, and “The Moth” live event on Thursday evening is being postponed. The Tampa Theatre box office will contact ticket holders directly with information about the postponement, and the theater will honor tickets for the rescheduled show.

“A growing number of areas around Tampa Bay are under suggested or mandatory evacuation orders,” said WUSF Public Media General Manager JoAnn Urofsky. “We look forward to announcing a new date for the event soon. In the meantime, we urge residents to heed weather alerts and take measures to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.”
