WUSF Public Media has received 18 awards from the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists, (FABJ). Including an award for WUSF’s Kerry Sheridan. The team also won awards regarding hurricane coverage, consumer economics, higher-education, the baby formula shortage and more.

Reporter and “All Things Considered” cohost Kerry Sheridan was named the state’s top radio reporter for the second year in a row. WUSF also won first place in the team coverage category for reporting on Hurricane Ian.
“I am immensely proud of this wonderful team,” said WUSF General Manager JoAnn Urofsky. “Every day, they strive to cover issues of vital importance to the Florida community. These awards recognize that level of excellence in journalism.”
